A fun little Christmas present to you: How to add some fancy emoticons and symbols to your messages and texts.
From your home screen, go to your Settings and tap General.

Tap ‘Keyboard’
Tap ‘Keyboards’ and ‘Add New Keyboard’
Add New Keyboard
You will see ‘Emoji’ – tap it!
Now go back to the Messages or Mail app and you will find a new icon on your keyboard
Keyboard Switcher
Tap it and you can swap between your regular keyboard and the emoticons.
